The Little Mr & Miss Hickory contest will be held this year. The contest is open to any Colfax-Perry Township Resident, ages 2-6 years old. Each contestant will be required to sign up no later than 07/25/2010. A photo no larger than 4x6 shall be turned in with the registration form. The forms are to be turned in at the library.
Once the deadline has come, each contestant's photo will be placed on a container, with name and age written on it. All containers will be placed in the grocery store.
Patrons to the store will put money into their favorite contestant's container. The containers will then be picked up prior to the the festival's start and the money for each contestant will be tallied. The boy and girl contestants with the most money will be declared the winners. The money raised will go towards festival activities.
On Friday night of OHD, August 6th, at 6:00 PM at the main stage, each contestant should be present (by 5:45 PM) and will be asked various question by the MC. After talking to all of the contestants, Little Mr Hickory and Little Miss Hickory will be announced.
